Will a dealer finance me with bad credit? I think my score is like 550 or so.?

I also have collections on my credit with hospital bills and credit cards. I know its bad but I would like to know if they will finance me without going through the hassle of going there and being embarrassed when they say no. I opened a credit card for $500 credit limit that carries a balance of about $350 and been paying on time for since November. I have gotten declined for student loans from Sallie Mae, Citibank, and Wells Fargo.
