Law of conservation of energy says "Energy can neither b created nor destroyed" Thn y do we hav energy crisis?

"Energy can neiither be created nor destroyed. It can only be converted from one form to another." But in the 21st century, we face a problem of energy crisis, whereas the law says that energy can neither be created or destroyed. How can this be possible. Please interpret this situation and point me where I am wrong.
