Sallie mae loans to do or not to do?

hi guys I did some research online and have heard that Sallie Mae loans are unforgiving and that they are a bad ideal to take a loan from them, while other say its not too bad... So I wanted to know if it is a good idea to use Sallie Mae loan to pay for a tuition course, or if i should use a credit card?
