If you have the GI Bill, why do you want to borrow a private loan through Sallie Mae? And yes, they can lend you whatever amount your credit will allow. With some of the new changes for the Post 9/11 GI Bill, you shouldn't need to borrow a private loan. Reply back before you do anything.
